The Wilfrid Israel Museum is located in Kibbutz Hazorea, nestled in the green, pastoral Jezreel Valley, adjoining the Menashe Hills.
The museum opened with a collection of Far Eastern treasures bequeathed to the kibbutz by Wilfrid Israel. A permanent exhibition of East Asian art from the museum's collection is displayed alongside temporary exhibitions of contemporary art relating either esthetically or conceptually to Asian art. In addition to Israeli art, the museum exhibits works of art from Asia as well as other parts of the world.
Guided tours and activities are offered both for adults and children as well as a movie about the life and activities of Wilfrid Israel, one of the leading figures in the rescue of Jewish children from Nazi persecution before and during the Second World War.
