The Ein Dor Archaeological Museum was established by the members of Kibbutz Ein Dor in 1986 in order to house the antiquities discovered in the Lower Galilee and Jezreel Valley. A non-profit organization since 1997, the museum has since been formally accredited.
The Ein Dor Museum of Archaeology is located at the foot of the Tabor Mountain, near the biblical Ein Dor. The museum illuminates the area's rich and vibrant past through its permanent, outdoor and temporary exhibitions.

The museum invites guests to get to know the people who lived here in ancient times by visiting the permanent and temporary exhibitions, and the outdoor displays of ancient local architecture and agricultural equipment as well as the ancient crafts workshop. The various exhibits reveal the nature of ancient life in the area between the settled land and the nomadic land. They are taken from sites from all periods and cultures and give evidence of the multi-cultural meeting that took place in the area.

The museum offers a series of guided programs, arts and crafts workshops using natural resources, and educational activities about local cultures, peoples and religions in past and present. Groups, schools and families are welcome to participate in the museum's activities.
