The museum deals with the history of the Jewish people in Israel and in the Diaspora from the
beginning of the twentieth century up to the establishment of the State of
Israel. Emphasis is put on the Jews of
Warsaw, Poland, the Warsaw
ghetto, the ghetto uprising and Mordechai Anilevitz. The museum also presents the special story of
Kibbutz Yad Mordechai, the settlement of the Negev and the battles of 1948 in the southern part
of Israel.
